Immersive visual exploration of the future
An exploration of the future through an immersive installation merging technological advancements with visual art and story telling. An universe where the audience becomes the protagonist of a civilisation cohabiting with scientific developments.
As a concept artist, I research the role of an artist in a fast developing technological dependent society. Through this complex journey, I explore ways to merge technological advancements such as digital painting, 3D modeling, virtual reality, augmented reality, 3D printing with visual art and story telling. The creative process of my illustrative work is driven by the idea of creating an alternative universe reflecting my knowledge, passion and curiosity for pop culture, scientific development in the field of robotics, machinery as well as social phenomena, fashion and industrial design.
For the upcoming exhibition, I aspire to present a visual representation of my vision for the year 2047. Through an immersive installation, the audience will explore environments, scenarios and objects. The installation will consist of large digital paintings presented on light boxes, printed illustrations and 3d printed props. In order to amplify the experience, sound and light should be used to help the audience step into the visual universe presented.
